When I ask clients, “What does being at peace with money look like to you?” I often get these responses:
- not having to worry about money
- knowing that I have enough for my future , or
- being able to do the things I want, without wondering how that affects everything else
But what I’ve found is that most people don’t know how to get there. It takes two important characteristics to become liberated from the trap that keeps you financially frustrated or unhappy—commitment and willingness. Making a personal commitment in your heart and your gut to enhancing the quality of your life is critical. I’m not talking about a commitment to action steps, such as “saving $100 a month.” I’m talking about a much deeper commitment that you can apply to all areas of your life, such as “I commit to staying present [with money], communicating clearly in my relationships, and gaining the necessary information I need to be successful.” You must cultivate the strength and determination to stay true to your commitment, and stay true to your financial happiness. Having the willingness to make changes can be even harder than sticking to your commitment! Making changes in your life is not easy. But it is actually quite simple if you understand how to change:
- Make a personal commitment
- Know where you want to be
- Know where you are starting from
- Overcome your roadblocks
- Build an accountability plan
With clarity of your long-term goals, tools to assess your current situation, and the awareness of how to overcome your roadblocks, you can achieve financial success (as you define it) and become more at peace with money.

In this fast paced 2 hour workshop Rev. Gary will share with you his journey from illness to wholeness. He will reveal the promise of perfect health contained in all ancient texts and how it correlates with the Science of Mind. He will instruct you on what life changes you can make today to reveal your perfect health right now.
- From the trading floors of Wall Street to the greens of professional golf tournaments to the spotlight of T.V. and national comedy clubs, Reverend Gary has traveled a Divinely diverse path. Rev. Gary found his way into New Thought and Religious Science in 1991 as Spirit was gently and lovingly guiding him with a 2 by 4. From that first day in church he knew that an entirely new way of life stood before him, a life lived from inspiration as opposed to desperation. As he voraciously studied the works of ancient mystics and modern day masters his new life unfolded as he made major career transitions in an effort to live a life on purpose. Ultimately that purpose was revealed to him as being a teacher, writer and speaker of Spiritual truth, principles and practices. Rev. Gary has served as the Senior Minister of the Alpine Center of New Thought and is the founding Minister of the Joyful Heart Church of New Thought in San Diego, California. Rev. Gary is a licensed United Centers for Spiritual Living minister and currently serves as the Spiritual Director of the Joyful Heart Teaching Chapter. He is also employed as a Senior Instructor and consultant in the computer industry.
